Early Pregnancy Viability Reassurance Baby Scan £79

This scan is for early pregnancy usually between 7-15 weeks. Designed for parents who would like reassurance and to see a heartbeat. Also, if you are unsure of your dates or cannot get to see your midwife as soon as you would like, these scans are perfect for giving you an estimated due date and confirm if a single or multiple pregnancy. Please note we use a transabdominal (across your tummy) probe for this scan. It is important to drink 1 litre of water 45 minutes before the scan.

This scan is for early pregnancy usually between 7-15 weeks. This package is designed for parents who would like continued reassurance throughout the first trimester and to see a heartbeat on each scan. This is a great way to watch baby grow with your partner and see your baby in 4D throughout the first trimester. Please note we use a transabdominal (across your tummy) probe for this scan. It is important to drink 1 litre of water 45 minutes before the scan.

It is a traditional 2D scan that can be conducted at any stage of your pregnancy after your initial NHS appointment. The well-being scan focuses on the development of your unborn baby and allows us to check growth measurements, fetal movement, weight calculations, establish placenta position, amniotic fluid volume, provide an audible heartbeat trace and identify the position of your baby.

It is important to drink 1 litre of water 40 minutes before the scan if less than 20 weeks gestation.

Presentation Scan- £89

from 26 to 40 weeks

This is a traditional 2D scan that can be conducted between 26-40 weeks of your pregnancy. The presentation scan focuses on the position of your unborn baby and allows us to assess growth measurements and to check if the placenta is clear of the internal cervical os. The placental function will be assessed using an umbilical artery Doppler blood flow measurement.
